Alten Groep takes over EclipseIT

The Dutch ICT-service supplier, software tester and BI-specialist EclipseIT will be taken over by the French technical system developer Alten Group for an unknown amount. Alten Group is talking about a strategic take-over where all the activities in the Netherlands will be extended. According to the buyer, the activities of EclipseIT form a good addition to the technical advice services and engineering activities which take place at the three locations of Alten Netherlands.

‘We strengthen our position in the Netherlands by joining forces in the area of testing. Further profit can be obtained by cooperating in terms of business intelligence and software testing at common, existing and new customers.’ Says Eric Haesen, Director of Alten Netherlands. EclipseIT is amongst others specialised in testing SAP-software and business intelligence tools. The companie has locations in Capelle aan den IJssel and Utrecht.

Alten Netherlands is active from offices in Eindhoven, Capelle aan den IJssel and Apeldoorn. It is active in several projects in the area of technical automation, mechatronics and robotics.
