IT-service suppliers Stepco and AdVo IT merge

IT-service suppliers Stepco from Ittervoort and AdVo IT Group from Houten have merged. By joining forces Stepco and AdVo IT can support their customers better in terms of ICT-management and cloud service. The trade names Stepco and AdVo IT Group will keep existing. Both companies, which focus on SMEs, fall under the Stepco Group. Which further exists of the subsidiaries Schooldesk and Help-IT. The transaction is financially supported by Greenfield Capital Partners.

The in 1993 founded Stepco is specialised in IT-management and cloud services. AdVo IT, founded in 1999, installs data connections and also offers cloud services. Together both companies serve about five hundred customers in SMEs. The new company employs about hundred people.

ICT-entrepreneur Govert van Driel will lead the combination of both companies. Besides Govert van Driel, the management of the new company exists of the current board of Stepco, under the lead of Paul de Meulemeester, together with Richard de Vos, Director of AdVo IT.

Besides Greenfield Capital Partners, the board will also participate in the new company. With a wealthy investor like Greenfield, future take-overs are not excluded.
