By acquiring Vellance, Sentia has reinforced its position in the market for business-critical IT outsourcing and Managed Services. This acquisition is part of Sentia’s ambition to bolster its leading position in Europe in the area of Managed Services for complex and business-critical cloud applications. Following the acquisitions in Denmark in late 2016, Sentia’s team is now 300 strong and spans the Benelux and the Nordics. Vellance complements Sentia’s strategy of acquiring innovative and successful organizations to strengthen its market position.
“Within Sentia, we believe strongly in innovation. Vellance brings solid expertise in the design and automated building of IT platforms for digital agencies with a focus on continuity and quality. In addition, the organization specializes in the management of business-critical applications and therefore fits seamlessly with Sentia. The strategy to work with private as well as public cloud infrastructure also makes the integration logical”, according to Ian Zein CEO of Sentia Group.
Vellance, established in 1997, specializes in the support of high performance IT applications and manages an infrastructure that has been rolled out world-wide. Scalability, quality and 24×7 support are core values of the organization. “
Vellance is active in a market where technological and compliance developments occur in quick succession and a partner must meet the challenge of keeping pace with this. With this growth in scale we offer our team and our clients an even broader range of innovative solutions” comments Mathijs de Bildt, COO of Vellance.
The Vellance team will start to operate as a team within Sentia. The more than 20 specialists will work from their recently renovated office in Amsterdam. With this, Sentia now has offices spread across 3 countries, Belgium (Gent), The Netherlands (Amsterdam and Delft), and Denmark (Copenhagen).
